Angie Howell
Angie HowellAdministrator/Director of Nursing and Clinical Services
Angie Howell is a Registered Nurse and has been in the healthcare field since 1998. After finishing Graduate School at UNC in 1996, she decided her heart was in nursing and returned to school to become an RN. After working as a CNA in home healthcare for several years, Angie received her degree in nursing in 2001 and has since worked as an RN in home healthcare and the hospital setting since 2001. Angie received the IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) distinction in 2005 and 2010. She received the “Guardian Angel” award as a staff RN at MCR in 2010. Angie’s specialty is newborns/pediatrics and she has a real love for disabled children. After her daughter Jade was born in 2007 with undiagnosed medical problems, sensory integration issues, developmental delays, and an oral aversion which led to placement of a gtube, Angie realized that her heart was and would always be with disabled children. Thus the birth of Tender Hearts Home Healthcare which appreciates the tender hearts of our little patients while recognizing that our own tender hearts are rewarded by our work with these children.
